Phonics and Phonetics for Adults – Accurate pronunciation is important if we want to be understood clearly. Many adults are often confused with the pronunciation of commonly used words which could lead to misunderstandings. This course is relevant for those who are interested in phonics for their personal learning and development. It is also useful for parents who want to support their children’s learning on their reading journey.
In addition, this course gives adults learners an introduction to International Phonetics Alphabets (IPA) which will be of immense benefit to their own understanding of sounds in speech.
